Forms can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar General in Bermuda. Forms are also downloadable from registrygeneral.gov.bm or, once contacted, the Bermuda Department of Tourism will mail the form to the couple.

Couples should bring two witnesses to the Registrar-General’s Office for the signing of the license application. Two witnesses must also be present at the marriage ceremony. At the Registrar-General’s Office, couples must schedule an appointment for the date and time of the marriage. The current fees are $35 for marriages in the Registrar-General’s Office and $100 for all other marriages.

All weddings in Cuba are performed by a Notary Public. A valid passport, a tourist card, and certified birth certificates are required. Legally translated documents by the Cuban consul in Canada are also a necessity. 

For 2nd Weddings: Proof of divorce or death certificate is required.

The couple must create a sheet that lists their names, addresses, occupations, levels of education, nationality and the full names of their parents (living or deceased). Then, they must attach the photo page of their passport. The couple then is required to fax the documents in both English and Spanish to the hotel in Cuba in which they are staying at least three weeks before your arrival there.
